Green Hydrogen from Offshore-Electrolysis - The AquaVentus project
This presentation will discuss system integration of offshore-electrolysis in the North Sea which includes full infrastructure cost analysis. This will provide a holistic picture on the question how to utilise the intermittent wind energy potential in far flung offshore areas most efficiently.
The talk will also present brand new study findings (release date will be in June 2024) investigating "hybrid" energy systems (electrons and molecules) at sea that investigate electricity transportation by sea cable in combination with hydrogen transportation by offshore-pipelines.
