New product generation from GEMÜ: A leap into the future of valve designs
With the launch of its newly developed and innovative product generation, Ingelfingen-based valve manufacturer GEMÜ is taking a major leap forward – branded as a 'LEAP into the future'. 'LEAP into the future', with its abbreviation for "Lean. Effective. Agile. Platformized.", stands not only for the leap but also for advanced products in a modular design and for innovative production methods.
GEMÜ presents the new platform based product generation at the Hydrogen Technology Expo 2024 in Hamburg on Stand Stand 4B30.
GEMÜ D40/D41: These pneumatically operated diaphragm valves are specially designed for aseptic manufacturing processes. The sealing concept of the valves is based on the newly developed GEMÜ diaphragm, which achieves an improved service life through design changes. The difference between GEMÜ D40 and GEMÜ D41 is in their installation. While the GEMÜ D40 is installed using four collar nuts, the GEMÜ D41 is installed via the innovative EasyLock technology using a central thread without any loose components.
GEMÜ S40: A pneumatically operated globe valve which is characterized by a wide media and ambient temperature range. It is compatible with all existing GEMÜ 2/2-way globe valve bodies in an angle seat or a straight seat design.
GEMÜ P40: A pneumatically operated tank bottom valve which is equipped with the patented plug diaphragm technology (PD). This seal was specially developed for the tank bottom valve, and ensures low-maintenance operation in addition to optimized drainage properties. The dynamic pretension of the seal ensures long-term valve sealing over the entire service life of the PD.
GEMÜ 12A0: An electrical position indicator which is characterized by modern communication interfaces, an integrated sensor system and the option of operating via the GEMÜ app.
The new valves have uniform actuator modules on a platform architecture to enable flexible adaptation to different requirements. The GEMÜ 12A0 electrical position indicator is compatible with all pneumatically operated process valves with a linear actuator, regardless of the actuator size and control function, and offers a space-saving and simple automation option.
The new products will be available from Q3 2024 in a staggered manner. The new platform based product generation from GEMÜ unites efficiency, flexibility and a long service life – consequently marking a leap into the future.
