Reverion has developed the first highly efficient reversible fuel cell system that can produce electricity from hydrogen and hydrogen from electricity. 
The reversibility makes it possible to produce hydrogen with green electricity at times when electricity prices are low. If electricity prices rise, the Reverion system switches mode and generates electricity from hydrogen. This achieves significantly better capacity utilisation compared to conventional electrolysers. 
Thanks to the innovative system architecture, Reverion achieves a round-trip efficiency of up to 75%. The system can also switch operating modes fully automatically within one minute. The fast response time makes it possible to compensate for short-term fluctuations in the generation and demand profile. We build the Reverion plants with 3 MW electrolysis capacity and 1 MW electrical capacity as a turnkey solution in standard containers.
