500MW of alkaline electrolyser stacks will be supplied by EVōLOH once the facility is completed
Once its Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Massachusetts, specifically Lowell, has been completed, it has been planned that EVōLOH will deliver 500MW of electrolyser stacks to an unnamed customer.
This arrangement was set up through a ‘non-refundable deposit’ which will apply to the purchase cost once the facility is finished.
Further to this, in Lowell, it has also been agreed that in 2025, EVōLOH will add a pilot facility, which will become useful for a factory acceptance testing of full stacks up to 1MW. On top of this, right now, commercial demonstration projects of ‘multiple megawatts’ are under negotiation with clients and it is aimed that in early 2026, these projects will be commissioned.
The US-based firm’s founder and CEO, Dr. Jimmy Rojas, commented that it is a “recognition of the tremendous benefits of EVōLOH’s electrolyser technology and manufacturing process.”
Dr. Rojas continued, saying that the agreement adds to “more than 16GW of signed intent for the supply of Nautilus stacks and modules.” It was also recently revealed that ‘the company’s alkaline solution reportedly achieved stable and high-efficiency performances last February after tests.’
Dr. Rojas mentioned, “Using only local supply chains for commodity raw materials, high-speed roll-to-roll processing, and the most power-dense stack design in the industry, EVōLOH can produce in a few weeks what would take other electrolyser manufacturers months to supply.”
