Carlos holds a degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and a technician in Mechanics from the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais.
He was a full scholarship holder at the 7th Energy Economics Meeting, Argentina; at the 1st Youth Forum of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), United Arab Emirates; and in the Policy Group at the International Student Conference, Germany.
He is currently Technical Advisor at the Brazil-Germany Cooperation for Sustainable Development - GIZ, in the Energy and Urban Transformation Program, specifically with energy storage technologies.
Experience with commercial negotiations, foreign trade/sales and international communication as an intern at Belgo Bekaert Arames and Soluparts.
He was an intern at the Secretariats of Education and International Affairs of Contagem-MG, building the Education Notebook on Ethnic-Racial Relations.
He was part of the board of directors of the MINIONU extension project, which impacted 30 young people interested in simulating discussions on Diplomacy and Energy.
He is a volunteer at the Municipal Youth Council of Belo Horizonte and at the NGO Ibero-American Youth.
