Federico is currently serving as the Head of Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage, Head of Portfolio, and Head of Reservoir Engineering at Ad Terra Energy, he has successfully led numerous multi-stakeholder projects aimed at energy investment decisions and carbon emissions reductions. With over 20 years of international experience, Federico possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of CCUS projects, along with a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and foster collaborations with diverse stakeholders.
In addition to his professional roles, he is an active member of the United Nations' Injection Projects Working Group, where he contributes to the development of strategies and policies supporting CCUS initiatives. He have been recently name CCUS Technical Section director at Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and finally he also involved in the CO2-Plume Geothermal (CPG) research project led by ETH Zurich, which focuses on harnessing the potential of CO2 injection for geothermal energy generation. These engagements have allowed Federico to stay at the forefront of industry trends, collaborate with esteemed experts, and develop a holistic understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the oil and gas industry.
