Floris Batenburg is a dedicated Business Developer for CCS at Gasunie, where he plays a crucial role in managing commercial activities for the Delta Rhine Corridor CO2 and Delta Schelde CO2nnection pipeline projects. Throughout his career, Floris has been at the forefront of initiating and developing energy infrastructure projects across various sectors, including natural gas, electricity, hydrogen, and now CC(U)S. His efforts are driven by a deep passion for ensuring the availability of affordable, sustainable energy and a healthy climate.
In line with Gasunie’s mission to serve the public interest and facilitate the energy transition by providing integrated infrastructure services, Floris excels in building robust cross-border relationships and effectively aligning all parts of the CC(U)S value chain. By bridging gaps between various CCS initiatives, he is committed to creating a resilient North-West European CC(U)S system, supporting industries to decarbonize successfully.
