ITM Power
James is Head of Business Development for ITM Power. He joined in 2020 after a 15-year career of advising London Stock Exchange listed clients to help lead in two successful funding rounds of over £420m in quick succession, which enabled ITM to build one the largest manufacturing facilities of electrolysers in the world and continues to grow with an additional site in Sheffield coming online later this year.
ITM’s core PEM technology is based on their 2MW Trident system and is widely recognised as a leading technology, especially in terms of current density, footprint and reaction time. ITM also package the 2MW system in a plug and play unit, as well as a 20MW system for large builds. They are currently building the largest PEM system in the world, a 200MW project in Lingen, Germany, as well as series of other large projects in the oil & gas, ammonia, and semiconductor markets. They have also recently expanded into new global markets and will continue to focus on R&D to continue improving system performance, as well as offering new products for industrial uses.
