Jim has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in April 2024, after joining GKN Hydrogen in 2022 to lead Business Development in North America. He is a results-driven executive blending business expertise with technical acumen. Having dedicated 20 years to the hydrogen industry, Jim leverages his background in sales, business development, and systems engineering to create customer value in sustainable energy solutions. Jim joined GKN Hydrogen because he believes storage and distribution are the critical to unlocking the hydrogen economy. Previously, at Plug Power, PDC Machines and Ohmium, Jim’s firsthand experience with fuel cells, diaphragm compression, hydrogen refuelling stations, and electrolyzers provide him a thorough understanding of both the supply and consumption sides of the hydrogen ecosystem.
