Peter Adam is a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience within the energy sector. He studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences (FH) Dieburg and the Technical University (TH) Darmstadt in Germany. Peter began his career at Siemens AG as an Electrical Engineer advancing to Team Leader for automation technology. He then moved into Corporate Strategy and later served as Sales Director for Siemens Industry. From 1996 to 1999, he was Vice President for a joint venture in China, focusing on electrical components.
In the oil and gas sector, Peter held several key positions, including Vice President of Oil & Gas Upstream and Vice President of Upstream/Midstream Oil & Gas Rotating Equipment. He also led Account Management, Project Development, and Market Development for Siemens Oil & Gas, becoming Senior Vice President of Market Development Board, Head of Strategy, and Chief Technology Officer.
Since 2018, Peter has been leading Siemens Energy's hydrogen and sustainable business initiatives within the compression business, driving innovation and growth in the sustainable energy sector.
