Saad Kisra

SLB
Saad is a technology leader with over 23 years of contributions to innovative solutions for the energy industry with SLB. Today, he leads the development of the digital portfolio for SLB related to low-carbon technologies such as CCUS, hydrogen and geothermal.
He started his career with SLB in the Schlumberger Technology Center in Tokyo (SKK) in 2001 as an R&D engineer in the acoustics department. He was part of the team that developed and launched the Sonic Scanner tool in 2005. Since then, he has worked in multiple locations in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America across various roles. In 2020, Saad became the global head of process engineering in charge of growing and integration of VMG (based in Calgary) before starting his new role in 2023. Saad received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in electronics and electrical engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1999 and 2001. He also holds an MSc in the management of oil and gas from Heriot Watt University, UK, and a Master’s degree in renewable energy from the Renewable Energy Institute, UK.
