Yi Hsen joined NTI as Vice President (Strategy & Planning) in May 2021, subsequently as Deputy Chief Executive Office and is currently appointed as Group Chief Strategy Officer. Yi Hsen leads Nanofilm’s development of new business opportunities including strategic partnerships and inorganic opportunities through M&A.
In addition, as CEO of Sydrogen Energy - a joint venture between Nanofilm and Temasek group, Yi Hsen is shoring up the operation and direction of the growth in this deep tech venture that is poised to address the global challenges of climate change and energy security, bringing new hydrogen solutions to the market.
Yi-Hsen is a strong believer in the power of technology and innovation to improves lives and enjoys exploring new frontiers and opportunities. Prior to Nanofilm Technologies International Ltd, Yi-Hsen spent 20 years in the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) across a variety of roles and in different regions: Senior Vice President and Head Conglomerates 2018-2021, Executive Director Cleantech & Cities, Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions 2018,
Regional President Americas 2015-2018, Director i3 (industry identification and incubation) 2010-2015, Chief Information Officer 2013-2015, Regional Director Japan & Korea 2005-2010,Infocomm & Media Division 2001-2005.
