ExxonMobil’s Low Carbon Solutions is committed to advancing the energy transition and being a part of a lower-emission future. It's leveraging its unique combination of capabilities, including technological expertise and complex project management skills, to focus on carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen and lower emission fuels –which will help provide the world with products that support modern living while reducing emissions for customers.

That work starts with ExxonMobil’s own emissions. ExxonMobil has established accelerated ambitions to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions from its operated assets by 2050.* To help achieve that, the company plans to invest approximately $17 billion through 2027 with the dual aim of helping reduce emissions at ExxonMobil operations. That investment will also benefit customers in their efforts to reduce emissions.

Low Carbon Solutions leverages the capabilities across ExxonMobil, allowing the team to deliver the largest and highest return solutions: end-to-end offering for a lower-carbon future. This is a new, viable business created to deliver lower emissions and built on ExxonMobil’s advantage to deliver new technologies at scale for our customers.
